An unsolicited website audit
A full technical audit of a live Irish education website, done before any formal engagement, with a prioritised list of fixes.
24issues found and prioritised
Context
Before I had any formal relationship with the team, I looked closely at their public website and kept finding problems. Rather than mention it in passing, I did the work properly.
What I did
Ran a full technical audit covering security, SEO, broken pages, exposed staging environments and content quality. I found 24 issues and wrote them up as a structured remediation report, ordered by risk and effort, so the team could start fixing on day one.
What I learnt
The best way to show how you’d approach a job is to do a small, real piece of it. A prioritised list beats a cover letter.
